Anger spreads over killings by herdsmen
Governor in tears
Reps, Emir of Ilorin, Bishop, others outraged!
There is anger across the country over killings by suspected Fulani herdsmen.
The latest is the Monday night attack on an Enugu community where no fewer than 48 people are believed to have been killed.
The House of Representatives has summoned the Director General of the Directorate of State Services (DSS) to appear before it over the herdsmen’s activities.
Speaker of the Anambra State House of Assembly Rita Maduagwu wept during a session on the herdsmen’s killings yesterday.Deputy Senate President Ike Ekweremadu urged President Muhammadu Buhari to take action.
Minister of Agriculture Audu Ogbeh said unless a drastic action is taken, the activities of the herdsmen could destroy the nation.
The Igbo Assembly in the North called for a check of the violence. The Movement for the Actualization of Biafra (MASSOB) issued an ultimatum to the Federal Government.
The Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Sulu Gambari, told visiting Vice President Yemi Osinbajo that a halt must be put to the activities of the herdsmen.
The Archbishop of Anglican Communion (Enugu Archdiocese) Dr. Emmanuel Chukwuma, warned that if nothing was done to check the Fulani herdsmen, he would personally ask the pro-Biafra groups to declare a war against them.
The fiery cleric, who was visibly angry over Monday’s attack on an Enugu community, said it was now clear that the Federal Government controlled security agencies deliberately engaged in selective negligence.
He called on the Federal Government to declare a state of emergency in Igboland.
The Archbishop was surprised that many hours after the attack, no arrest had been made.

It is no assumption any longer that remnants of Boko Haram have been spreading across all over Nigeria, in what appears to be herdsmen killing innocent people.

Fulani Herdsmen Attack In YorubaLand

We must prepare for Fulani Herdsmen in the the West. Strangers cannot invade our territory and hold our people captive in the name of one Nigeria.
Hausa/Fulani don't know the language of one Nigeria and that is why they see themselves as most important citizens of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

They always place other tribes behind them and that is the area we must take note to tackle the problem of Fulani Herdsmen in Yoruba Land. Arewa Consultative Forum Elders are Boko Haram people. No apology for that. If they deny it. We should ask them their role over the problem of Boko Haram Terrorist Group. Let us prepare before they catch us unaware. Please don't sleep wake up our Traditional Rulers, ring the bell on their hears everyday.

How spiritual Rebirth As A Nation Could Spring Nigeria Economy - Otunba Gani Adams Advises Federal Government.

Economy Downturn: We Need Spiritual Rebirth As A Nation- Otunba Gani Adams

The Chief Promoter of Olokun Festival Foundation, Otunba Gani Adams, today at the annual 'Wealth Festival' held in Powerline, Agege,Lagos advised the Federal  Government to seek spiritual solution to the present economic woes.
According to Adams," Now is the time  to appreciate Aje, the deity that is in charge of fortunes and prosperity. It is apparently the most sought- after in life and God, the Supreme being has created a kind of unique spiritual affinity between man and wealth.
In the developed world, they make adequate spiritual consultations before embarking on any developmental projects. This is the truth, because they research into the spiritual realm, mainly to have a clear - cut idea of what to do, how to do it, and when to do it in the physical world. And What this means in the real sense of it is that they know for certain that they can only succeed in whatever they do by aligning  first with the spiritual world, before the physical world. That is food for thought for Nigeria and Nigerians.

It is sad that Nigeria could be in this situation, despite its huge human and natural resources that are abound all over the country. It is an Irony of fate that Nigeria's  budget keeps increasing annually, yet there is little to show for it. And the truth is: We have lost touch with the spiritual realm, we believe wrongly in the ability of our leaders.
But even at that, this is my modest proposal to the Federal government. The  global economic crisis and the eventual fall of the oil prices in the world market is a strong indication that we can not continue to be over-dependent on oil.God has really blessed us as a nation, we have to explore our tourism potentials by creating wealth, thus, using what we have to get what we want.  Now that the present situation continues to bite hard on the people, we have to look inward.
At a time like this, We need spiritual rebirth. We need spiritual transformation.

We need to align with our roots  and seek spiritual enlightenment as a nation. Let us seek the face of Eledumare and go back to our roots.Let us appreciate  our  God- given wealth and natural endowments.Let us revive our cultural heritage and tradition, Let us promote our local languages. This is our true cultural identities as a people, we can only make meaningful progress as a nation if we go back to our roots. God  has blessed us with every thing that can help us grow as a nation, but we abandoned it, we never appreciate what we have until we lose it that is the tragedy of our nation".
Speaking further, he opined that by celebrating Aje festival today,Agege community  that hosts us today will definitely experience  economic boom.Aje festival celebration will definitely, translates to economic growth and development in Agege and its environs. More importantly, as we celebrate Aje festival today,we are reclaiming our lost glory, at the same time, we are saying good bye to lack and poverty. As we celebrate wealth today, we are spiritually blessed with richness and abundance.

The Festival attracted members of Oodua People's Congress, Oodua Progressive Union, (The Yoruba Organisation for Yorubas in diaspora). It had in attendance HRM Oba Ambaliu Hakeem Agbedeyi1, the Alayoge of Orile-Agege,HRM Oba Adeyemi Akanbi, Oba Orisa  of Benin Republic, Chief T Jaji, Baale of Allen, Chief TN Bakare, Baale of Omole,Prof. Kolawole Raheem of University of Education,Ghana, Dr.  Adesanya Ahmed of the department of African Languages,Literatures and Communication Arts Lagos State University, Chief Akeem Muraina, Baale of Ifako,Prince Kunle Adeyemi,Akogun Gani Kayode Balogun,Publisher GKB News, Orile Agege Council of Chiefs and several others.

Bad eggs among the Nigeria Union of Teachers (N.U.T). here in Badagry Local Government.

Good morning our beloved readers, it has come to our notice that the teachers have some cooperatives called N.U.T and TANCOMS. Teachers join these cooperatives so that they can be rescued whenever they are in problems. But it’s really sad that the so called Cooperative management committee have been treating these people inappropriately; in sense whereby if the individuals (teachers) who pay money into the account of these cooperatives every month need the assistance of
the N.U.T or TANCOMS, there will be nowhere to be find. So due to this reason, they have tended to continually loosing members. Now, more than half of its members (teachers and workers) have been demanding to get back the money they have contributed to these cooperatives but nothing has been done in terns of refund. Looking from the aspect of TANCOMS, an incident happened concerning a man called Stevin, Stevin is one of the TANCOMS members and he has been sick for a while now, due to his illness, Stevin has been pleading to get back some of his money even if it is not everything but they would not answer nor respond till date. Furthermore, we have some women who have been asking for refund as well but Mr Jihumeto Whenayon the president of the TANCOMS have been posting them and even refused to pick there calls just because they want the money they contributed into the account of this cooperative. Same thing goes to Mr. Todowede James; Mr. Todowede James almost beat up a woman just because she asked for her money back. A meeting was held on Tuesday and they specifically promised some people refund as of 23/03/2016 and today 24/03/2016 but nothing has been done to fulfil these promises but rather, they have been insulting these individuals via phone. Back to N.U.T cooperative, it is so sad that the bad eggs among N.U.T are so much to the essence whereby Mr. Honawon Oluwasina Amos specifically placed his finger on an elderly woman’s noise just because she is asking for her part money she contributed. Even to the essence whereby Mr. Hedonukun James also embezzled lot of money from the cooperative and nothing has been done concerning it till date. Please if you are a close friend or family to these individuals with wrong doings, kindly tell them to pay back every members money. Likewise, we have already sent a letter to the ministry of education both in state and in federal. We ‘d like Mr. Jihumeto Whenayon to get these financial problems fixed before he leaves his post as the president in September. Kudos to Todowede Hoteyin Abel when he was the president. N.U.T
