Ibereko is an ancient town was founded by Oba Olofin Atifejoye who migrated along with his people from the central home of Ile Ife, the cradle of the Yoruba people. Oba Olofin Atifejoye and his people came through Yewa River and settle at a place called IYAFIN on the instruction of the oracle.
